Our team runs on Volunteers! We need your help to make each Swim & Dive Meet as well as our Special Events a success. We ask that each family member volunteers throughout the season at TWO events and there are multiple opportunities to do so. If your family doesn't meet this requirement, you will be charged $125 fee at the end of the season.

The following is a list of jobs that are available for parent volunteers for Swim & Dive Meets:

• Timer (Home and Away Meets)
  • This position is responsible for timing the swimmers during the meet.  You will sit at the end of one of the lanes and have a front row seat for all the action.
• Finish Lane Judge (Home and Away Meets)
  • This position is responsible for watching the finish of the race and to help determine which lane came in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
• Runner/Post Results (Home Meets)
  • This position is responsible for picking up the relay cards and the event sheets from the timers and the DQ slips from he officials.  This position will also post the results for each event to the predetermined result area.  This position may be divided into two jobs at bigger home meets.
• Award Ribbons (Home and Away Meets)
  • This position is responsible for labeling the ribbons and placing them in the awards folders after each meet.
• Dive Announcer (Home Meet)
  • This position is a Certified Position and requires previous training.  This position is responsible for announcing the divers name along with the dive they will be preforming and its degree of difficulty.
• Stroke and Turn Official (Home and Away Meets)
  • This position is a Certified Position and requires previous training.  This position is responsible for evaluating swimmers for correct techniques and following the rules.
• Swim Announcer (Home Meets)
  • This position is a Certified Position and requires previous training.  This position is responsible for announcing during the swim portion of the meet.
• Starter/Referee (Home Meets)
  • This position is a Certified Position and requires previous training.  This position is responsible for starting each swimming event and being referee for the swim meet.

Throughout the summer we have opportunities for parents to volunteer to help out with Special Events including our Kickoff Bash April 23rd, participation on the Spirit Committee, Banquet Committee and Swim Meet Committee. 

Other events are listed below:

• Donut Saturdays - After each swim practice on Saturdays, we pass out donuts to each swimmer.  To make these Donut Saturdays successful, we ask for parent volunteers to purchase, bring, and pass out the donuts to the swimmers.   
• Time Trial Wednesdays - Each Wednesday we hold time trials to get times for the swimmers.  The times from these Time Trials will be used to help place swimmers in events.  We are asking for volunteers to help time the swimmers during the Time Trials.
  
• CITY MEET Clerk of Course & Other City Meet Opportunities
